We are looking for a dependable, safety-conscious Sweeping Operator to join our night-shift team!

This is a Full-Time Position that requires a candidate residing in Tucson, AZ to fulfill the scheduled hours. 

Pay: Start $17 or DOE (Depends on Experience).

Shift Times
  • Sunday - Thursday from 9:30PM - 6:00AM 

Qualifications:
  • Vehicle Operation: Safely operate heavy sweeping equipment to clean parking lots and streets.
  • Pre-Departure Quality Checks: Perform rigorous pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is road-worthy (checking fluids, tires, belts, and lights) before departure.
  • Regional Transit: Safely navigate Arizona highways. 
  • Tucson Operations: Perform sweeping operations in the Tucson area, including mandatory 
  • Field Maintenance: Use basic hand tools to perform actions or adjustments such as changing tire and checking fluid.
  • Tech Integration: Use mobile apps or digital logs for routing/GPS and reporting.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Operates sweeping vehicle that cleans streets and lots of trash, leaves and other.
  • Ensures supplies and material handling equipment is secured prior to operating sweeper.
  • Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle.
  • Ensures vehicle is operating correctly while on the route and notifies Shift Lead/Fleet Mechanic of any concerns.
  • Understands and practices operating best practices.
  • Immediately reports any unsafe situations/service calls to Shift Lead before attempting service.
  • Participates and cooperates in all scheduled training, briefings, and safety meetings as required by the Company.
  • Works closely with Shift Lead/Operation Manager to improve route efficiencies and identify any on-road issues.
  • Performs all duties as scheduled by Shift Lead, assisting other company drivers as directed.
  • Notifies Shift Lead of any incidents/accidents/injures/property damage.
  • Provides a positive professional customer attitude when dealing with customers.
  • Completes job route sheet with information and leaves with customer when required.
